Material:

• At Crates of Beauty we take every measure to use the most sustainable materials possible, sourcing from Kwazulu Natal we use authentic bamboo with rattan palm raffia weaves as opposed to vine canes more pervasively seen but less symmetrical in form. All our frames are made from precision engineered, stainless steel.

Pendant cord sets:

• Our hanging lights require standard E27 pendant cord connectors with easy shades (39mm). These are not included but available. Under 'Cord sets' you can tailor your selection unique to your project and custom needs.

Care Instructions:

• Cleaning: Rattan loves moisture and prevents weaves from snapping. Occasionally wipe with a soft, damp cloth or give your objects a sprig of water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep dry otherwise
• Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading and the materials from becoming stiff from dry climates.

• 4 weeks or less, available stock and quantity depending.

Shipping

• Shipping Time: Standard shipping takes 3 to 5 business days in South Africa.
• Shipping Areas: We ship nationwide with the Courier Guy at standard rates of R300 for orders under R2,500 and R500 for orders over R2,500. We also ship worldwide via air or sea freight, quoted separately according to your needs.
• Tracking: A confirmation email with a tracking number is sent once your order is shipped.

Returns Policy

• Grievance Window: Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds, as items are bespoke and handmade to order. Clients may request photographs of their pieces prior to dispatch, and we aim to correct or amend any grievances raised within 7 days of delivery.
